Vivian Gray McHugh

Fourth Grader

BIO

Vivian Gray McHugh is a fourth-grader from San Francisco, California. She plays as a forward for the Bay Area Girls Unite soccer club, excels at math and was elected to be a class representative on the student council.

She has traveled to Thailand, the Galápagos Islands, China, Costa Rica and Mexico. After attending a culinary camp last summer and being asked to butcher a chicken, she decided to become a pescatarian—and an animal-rights activist.

One of the highlights of Vivian’s year was on January 21, when she attended the Women’s March with her mom, Margaret Johnson, to support women everywhere. She didn’t even care that it was pouring rain.
