BIO

Emmy-award-winning photographer/filmmaker, Lauren Greenfield, is a preeminent chronicler of youth culture, gender, and consumerism for her monographs (Girl Culture, Fast Forward, THIN), and documentary films (THIN, kids+money, Queen of Versailles).  Queen of Versailles won her the Best Documentary Director Award at Sundance Film Festival.  Her viral ad #LikeAGirl swept commercial awards, including 14 Cannes Lions 2015, was named 3rd Best Ad of the Decade, and earned Greenfield the #1 director/Most Awarded Director by AdAge, the first woman to top this list. Her latest multi-media work, Generation Wealth, opened at the Annenberg Space for Photography in April, 2017 and will travel to the ICP in New York in September.  Generation Wealth is also her latest monograph, published by Phaidon, and is the subject of her new feature-length documentary to be released theatrically by Amazon Studios in Fall, 2017.
