BIO

Lauren Boyman is Chief Marketing Officer of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. She is responsible for the Firm’s brand and how it comes to life in advertising, externally facing digital platforms, social media, and content marketing. Internally, she partners with the field and product/banking areas to drive growth via new client acquisition and creating opportunities for deeper client relationships. Previous to this role, Lauren was Head of Marketing Strategy & Analytics for Morgan Stanley’s Global Marketing department. In that role, she was responsible for strategy, research & measurement, operations, finance and risk management for our Marketing function.

Lauren’s favorite career highlights were leading the cross-functional team that launched our Firm’s first client mobile iPhone app, and launching the Firm’s FA social media program, enabling FAs to use LinkedIn and Twitter for business development. Morgan Stanley was the first major brokerage to allow social networking usage for its FAs in a compliant way.

Lauren previously worked at Merrill Lynch in Marketing and Colgate-Palmolive in Brand Management. She started her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.

Lauren is on the Rising Leaders Council of New York Cares, and is also on the Alumnae Board of the HBS Women’s Association. She has a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She lives in NYC with her 8 year old son.
