Katie Puris

Katie Puris is the Business Director of Facebook’s Creative Shop. She leads the global team’s business to serve, inspire, and provoke the creative industry. Katie works with a team of creative directors, strategists, entrepreneurs, and technologists dedicated to building creative ideas through a combination of art and science for Facebook and Instagram. Before joining Facebook six years ago, Katie spent her career in senior leadership roles at Google and on the Creative Agency side.

Katie is an advertising agency native, with over 13 years spent with creative agencies. Her last two positions within agencies were as SVP BBDO New York and Managing Director at Atmosphere BBDO. She has worked with some of the best brands in the world, including FedEx, AT&T, Visa and PepsiCo. Katie is connected to many awards and accolades over the course of her career: Cannes Cyber Lions, One Show, New York Festivals and Webby Awards to name a few.

Katie has also served on several boards, including the Board of Directors for the Advertising Educational Foundation and the Leadership Board of God's Love We Deliver. She is a member of AWNY, The One Club & The Advertising Club of New York.

Katie resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband Jason and their two children, Oliver and Clementine.
