Anomaly

BIO

Jezz Chung is a New York-based creative, writer, and advocate for inclusion with a mission to change the industry through radical empathy and courageous storytelling. After beginning her career in strategy and account management, a remake of a Beyoncé music video shot on her iPhone landed her a job as a copywriter at Media Arts Lab, Apple’s agency of record in LA. After launching global campaigns for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Music, Jezz moved to NYC to write for tech and beauty brands at Anomaly.

In March 2019, her career took another pivot when she worked with the leadership team at Anomaly to create the role of their first-ever Diversity & Engagement Lead. Her passion lies in applying the skills she’s developed across three industry disciplines to champion for equity, inclusion, and authentic representation within and beyond Anomaly. Jezz has been recognized by the AAF, the 4A’s, ADCOLOR, Adweek, Campaign Live, The Drum, and HP’s #MoreLikeMe program for her commitment to creating change.

You can catch Jezz on Instagram at @jezzbereal sharing her poetry and vintage collection, practicing her Beyoncé moves and talking about topics like mental health and Asian American identity.
