In an era when we have the first openly gay candidate vying for the Presidential nomination, gay rights are increasingly taking center stage, both in the news and in brand messaging from the Fortune 500. And while familiarity breeds acceptance, things like the transgender military ban and the Trump administration's failure to recognize June as National LGBTQ pride month take a toll on gay rights.
