Tahirah is a multidisciplinary creative who believes a good idea can become great with a bit of thinking, a lot of passion and a ton of curiosity. Her work includes brand campaigns for Nike, Google, Levi’s, Amazon, eBay and UGG.
LA-based but London-born, her professional path has taken her through assistant-producing BBC radio shows, creating an educational program for an online game, and a few other unexpected places in between before carving out a career as a Copywriter.
Her unconventional path into advertising has fueled her passion and commitment to diversifying the industry. She’s particularly interested in helping create an industry culture that gives creative autonomy to marginalized and minority voices.
Tahirah has been honored as one of The Drum’s 50 Under 30 and is an alumni of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity’s See it Be It initiative.
