Goodby Silverstein & Partners

Rich grew up in New York, attended Parsons School of Design and moved to San Francisco to work as an art director at Rolling Stone magazine and at agencies such as Bozell & Jacobs, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather, and Foote, Cone & Belding before co-founding Goodby Silverstein & Partners. Rich is a member of the New York Art Directors Club and the One Club Creative Hall of Fame, and was named Executive of the Decade by Adweek. He serves on the board of Specialized, for which he oversaw the launch of their “#OUTRIDEADHD” advertising campaign. He loves anything fast and is currently living his dream working on BMW while recuperating from a recent go-kart crash.

He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Carla Emil, and Felix the cat. He has two grown kids, Aaron and Simone, and is a proud grandfather to Maple, Will, Owen and Emma.
