Pankaj has been with P&G for more than 15 years and has worked across the globe in the organization’s Health, Grooming, Beauty and Household Care sectors, leading global, regional and local business. Currently, he leads business, profit and brand responsibility for the North American Gillette and Venus businesses.

In 2000, he joined the Gillette Media & Market Research team in New Delhi, India, and has since held roles in six different countries, including work with Gillette, Oral-B, Crest, Old Spice, Duracell, Venus, Camay, Blend-a-Med and Scope. His experience across the personal care category and in international roles has led him to his current position, establishing brand leadership and direction for North America’s premier shaving care brands, Gillette and Venus.

Pankaj is especially proud Gillette’s recent campaigns, including the fall 2018 work with one-handed Seattle Seahawks linebacker Shaquem Griffin which highlights how challenges and hardships lead to our best performance. This then transitioned into Gillette’s most recent campaign, “The Best Men Can Be,” launched in January 2019 which started a global conversation about what it means for men to be at their best and re-established Gillette as leading voice in this space.

Academic Qualifications: He received his bachelor’s in commerce degree with honors, specializing in business and managerial economics from the Indian Institute of Management and Commerce, Hyderabad. He received a Post Graduate Diploma in Brand Management, Marketing, Business Management from MICA Ahmedabad in 2003.

Personal life: P&G runs in Pankaj’s family. His wife works as a Brand Manager, and he has a six-year-old son. He is a self-described amateur stand-up comedian and nervous runner, and loves to engage with Gillette brand fans on Twitter.
