Lisa Jamhoury is a designer, software developer and new media artist. She is currently a senior experience designer on Adobe’s Machine Intelligence Design team, where she collaborates across Adobe research, design and engineering to build user-centered machine intelligence in creative tools.

In 2018 Lisa completed her master’s degree and a year-long research residency at the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University. While at NYU she focused on open source, web-based creative coding tools and immersive installations. From 2013-2018 she was founding chief digital officer at media strategy company, Blue Chalk Media, where her work was recognized by the Webby, Davey and Silver Anvil Awards, among others.

Lisa is a recipient of the MediaOcean Women in Technology grant, xStory Google Research Grant, NYU Visual Arts Initiative Award, Streb GO! Emerging Artist Commission, and Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship, among others. Lisa volunteers as an xStory mentor, guiding graduate students’ immersive storytelling projects. She is the co-creator and maintainer of open source tool, Kinectron, and is an editorial board member of Ochre.is, an online journal published by Northeastern University's Media Innovation Program about the impact of technology on visual storytelling. When not at her desk, Lisa is an 800-hour certified Jivamukti Yoga instructor, and an aerial acrobatics performer.
