Grace Teng represents a new movement to re-bundle media services within creative agencies. Formerly a senior digital director at Team One (Saatchi & Saatchi), Grace joined Zambezi in 2018 as Executive Director, Media & Analytics, contributing communications, media planning and buying, and analytics to the expanding toolkit of this leading female-owned independent agency.
At Zambezi, Grace applies media thinking across all creative, strategic and production disciplines. Her focus is on how brand messages are delivered to consumers or B2B, helping creatives and strategists see their work through an outcome-based lens by layering on a digital-first POV that provides a unique approach and integrates media and digital practices with creative and strategy.
Grace’s prolific career and expertise in media, digital marketing and analytics has spanned key positions at leading agencies: Team One, Mindshare, MECi Interactive, Deutsch LA, and BBDO. She has worked with top brands such as Goldman Sachs, Lexus, Ritz Carlton, Mitsubishi, Chrysler, KFC, Starbucks, Kraft, Sony Entertainment, Sprint and Disney. Her eclectic resume includes political marketing in Washington D.C. and tech startup experience in New York City, as well as consulting for venture capital firm Cerberus Capital Management.
Grace has been a guest lecturer at Georgetown, Syracuse and Howard University, where she has addressed a range of topics from the rise of digital marketing to working in startups to the differences between political and consumer advertising. She was also recently honored at Campaign U.S.’s inaugural Female Frontier Awards in the “Making Moves in Media” category.
