Blake Winfree is a Creative Director currently working at MullenLowe US. He began his advertising career as an intern at Fallon Minneapolis followed by stints at Cramer Krasselt, GMMB and DDB Chicago before arriving in Boston in 2013. Over the course of his career, Winfree has worked with a number of prominent brands, including United Airlines, Citibank, the United Nations Foundation, Skittles, Royal Caribbean, Hyatt and American Greetings.

His work has been recognized globally by advertising’s major award shows including the One Show, the Cannes Lions, D&AD, the Webbys, London International, Graphis, Communication Arts, the Clios and the Effies. Winfree’s “World’s Toughest Job” campaign for American Greetings won the Grand Effie in 2015.

In addition to his notable client work, he created the 25Forty Project, a program aimed to expose diverse high school students to the advertising industry. First introduced at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2016, Winfree and colleague Erin Swenson Gorrall decided to go beyond just hosting another panel on the topic of diversity and take action by creating the 25Forty Project. They invited agencies across the nation to join in and tackle this issue together. After a successful inaugural year, Winfree is gearing up for an even stronger second year.
