Maybe it came from growing up around his father’s agency in Bogotá. Or maybe from his time globetrotting as an Art Director in places like Madrid, San Juan, and Miami. But, Andrés Ordóñez has a fire in his belly to create big, global brand ideas and bring them to life as evocative stories. A proven creative leader, Andrés’ passion has brought him multiple Cannes Lions, Effies, Clios, and Pencils, among other awards.

Since being named Chief Creative Officer at Energy BBDO in 2016, Andrés’ unrelenting energy has driven meaningful work for brands across all of the agency’s clients including American Egg Board, ZTE, SC Johnson, Pearle Vision, Kerrygold, Bayer and Wrigley, where he notably led the creation of Extra’s emotional brand film “Sarah & Juan,” one of YouTube’s 5 Most Iconic Ads of 2016.

Andrés fuels creative innovation and always with the belief that in order to create great work, you must bring your whole self to work, embodying a balance between life and family.
