The Brand, Content & Customer Insights organization within Salesforce is looking for a senior creative leader for our Small Business team. The Associate Creative Director works with their team and our internal partners to tell the Salesforce SMB story to prospects and customers around the world. This individual will embrace our values-driven philosophy that “business is the greatest platform for change,” and will help amplify our small business stories through that narrative.

The ACD for SMB will help drive campaigns, digital experiences, and world-class events, such as Dreamforce - the world's largest software conference.

This role will partner with, and report to the Group Creative Director for products, and is part of the global Marketing organization.

Job Responsibilities

The right candidate will play a critical role in the next phase of Salesforce's global growth by establishing the SMB brand as a significant growth engine within the overall Salesforce portfolio of products and services.

  • You'll lead campaign pitches and execution for our SMB products across a diverse set of audiences.
  • You'll brainstorm engagement strategies and innovative approaches to connect with our customers in a whole new way.
  • You'll tell the SMB story at hundreds of events around the world.
  • You'll extend the brand and SMB vision to our digital experiences.
  • You'll ensure our creative inspires audiences with thoughtful, and differentiating messaging

  • You lead by example and consistently inspire creative colleagues to create differentiating, pioneering ideas that conceptualize world-class solutions.

Role Requirements 

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the creative space.
  • Agency experience a strong plus
  • Award-winning portfolio.
  • History of executing successful interactive experiences and campaigns.
  • Successful history of creating impressive interactive experiences and campaigns.
  • People-focused leader with proven ability to build creative, collaborative teams; develop people; and link performance to overall business objectives
  • Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally.
  • Continually develop practices and processes to inspire, innovate, and harness new ways of thinking.
  • Act as a strategic and conceptual leader on projects.
  • Actively train, mentor, and manage junior-level and mid-level creative team members. Innate problem-solver and master of putting things into focus.
  • Work in conjunction with the team to actively build a strong relationship with any given partner.
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Can articulate, defend, and justify conceptual ideas and design choices.
  • Manage multiple projects, clients, and budgets within deadlines.
