Salesforce is looking for an Advertising Art Director
Our team is looking for an ambitious and talented Cross-Product Marketing Art Director. This person will team up with the Cross-Product Marketing Copywriter under the guidance of the Creative Director. As a group, we'll create inspiring work that will set the standard for craft and excellence and meets the strategic objectives for the world’s #1 CRM.
Cross-Product Marketing means exactly what it sounds like. The work this person creates would support our offerings that cover multiple products. They will join our B2B Marketing Creative team that creates work for both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud - our two biggest products. When time permits, this person will help out on those products too, under the guidance of the same Creative Director. But they won't be alone. They'll have guidance from the Sr. Writer and Sr. Art Director on those assignments.
This is what we're looking for:
This job requires excellent design talent and impressive conceptual abilities. They'll need a wealth of digital experience. This job demands the ability to design a beautiful layout that takes the audience on a clear visual journey. This means getting down-and-dirty with kerning, leading and all the details that turn good design into great pieces of art.
And to get things done, they'll need to rely on strong relationship-building skills. Everything our Art Director creates needs to be clear, concise and within our best practices. We expect our creatives to defend our brand and push it to new places.
The scope of work is wide and always changing. They'll concept and execute big campaign ideas that set a look and feel. That work will come alive in many places, especially in demand generation projects. Sometimes, they'll get to create innovative direct mailers or design e-books. They’ll need to keep our webpages fresh and updated. Sometimes, they'll get to design fun digital experiences for our events, both live or virtual. And this includes Dreamforce, the biggest software conference in the world.
Whatever we need to best serve our audience, we'll create to the best of our abilities.
There's a lot of work here. Getting it done requires a mature professional skill set. They'll be juggling projects and aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They'll need to be able to present and sell their work to our partners. Doing this requires the ability to deliver a clear point of view and a full grasp of creative strategy.
The Art Director will also need to guide our vendors to push that creative process forward. They'll need to provide clear creative direction with timely and helpful feedback.
