Edelman is looking for a talented Associate Creative Director with a copywriting background to join its award-winning Los Angeles creative team, working with clients focused on food and beverage. You will be challenged to push convention and your own creativity to find the most innovative ways to drive consumer behavior in today’s socially-charged, digital environment.

The Los Angeles Associate Creative Director will be responsible for developing groundbreaking multi-channel work for an incredible lineup of marquis brands. Your output will be an invigorating blend of branding, visual design, earned, experiential, social, integrated campaigns, and any big ideas you can dream up and pitch. You’ll need to bring a passionate knowledge of digital creative and social media, as well as a love for crafting smart and beautiful work.

You have history of creating captivating ideas through words that inspire. You stop dinner parties with the etymology of “sauté” but save the night with a six-syllable-synonym for “baste.” You believe in the Rule of Three. So, you’re definitely a student of the craft. Most importantly, you also love collaboratively leading creative teams to create brilliant work.

We will look to you for your energy and your vision. But also, your ideas. Especially your ideas. You’ll bounce them off your co-workers, laughing with planners, designers, art directors, strategists to create amazing and enduring work with the health and wellness practice.

  • 7-10 years of creative agency experience (some in-house is okay, as long as it was a great house)
  • Passionate about the food and beverage space and the desire to make a difference
  • Experience in quick service restaurants and casual dining categories a plus
  • A killer online portfolio with a nice mix of traditional, digital, and social creative
  • A love for (and an active user of) social media
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a smile
  • Willingness to push your craft, get your hands dirty and make great things
  • Social fluency and a solid understanding of how to drive conversation and engagement across social channels
  • A natural flare for the unique, the buzz-worthy and the culturally relevant
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
