Year by year, we've been growing our delegation to the 3% Conference. This year we have achieved a new record with over 250 ambassadors from across Publicis Groupe in attendance. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Kat Gordon, Lisen Stromberg, and their team for their vision and dedication in creating a summit that champions the success of women and celebrates all diversity in our industry. Our support of the 3% Conference illustrates our belief in its value, impact, and ability to drive positive change across the industry. There is still much to accomplish in making sure our organizations are diverse. But, now more than ever, we are engaged with a shared vision and commitment to equity. We are on the right track in continued progress.

Celebrating difference is core to Publicis Groupe's 90 years-history. This is captured in our motto Viva la Difference!, a celebration of our talent and all of their differences. 

Through our work, we hold the power and ability to shape cultural narratives that serve to uphold the dignity of all. This is a responsibility that we do not take lightly. It’s more than nice words; it means tangible actions and results. Publicis Groupe is a signatory of the UN’s Unstereotype Alliance dedicated to eradicating harmful gender-based stereotypes in advertising. We truly believe we can have a positive impact. During the past 18 months, we have made two other visible corporate commitments: we were among the first companies to join the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion in the US and globally we have signed the Women Empowerment Principles crafted by UN Women. 

Looking inward at some of our home-grown solutions to drive inclusive work environments, I am proud to see the dynamism, vitality, and impact of our business resource groups (BRGs) around the world. VivaWomen!, VivaWomen of Color, VivaMama, VivaTech and our many other women’s leadership networks are tremendous forces for good within the walls of our agencies. 

On November 14-16 in Paris, Publicis Groupe’s Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society will gather thousands of participants from more than 80 countries. The Women’s Forum is a leading platform dedicated to highlighting women’s voices and perspectives on global issues. It’s not just about claiming equality. It’s about showing that women can create value, bring innovation, and help solve the most difficult issues the world is facing. The Women’s Forum empowers leaders—both women and men—to make a difference while building bridges between generations, countries, and cultures while finding new ways for impactful cooperation. Much like the 3% Conference, the Women’s Forum seeks to help unlock the full potential and opportunity for women which at the end of the day will allow us to promote a fairer and more just world.
